Are there other instances when ROFW Fuel Funds can be used?

ROFW Fuel Funds can also be used for the repair of heating systems with a maximum benefit of $500. (Click here for more information on heating system repairs) In addition, ROFW fuel funds are occasionally used for EAP income eligible households with urgent energy issues when EAP program funds are not available.

Is there always money in this fuel fund to help me if I meet the guidelines?

No, donations to this fuel fund vary and completion of an EAP application and the determination of income and need eligibility do not guarantee the funds will be available to assist you. In instances such as these, we will provide you with referrals to other agencies that may be able to assist you, and/or work with you on establishing a possible payment plan with your vendor.

The program is currently not taking applications.

I would like to help other people in need, how can I donate to this fund?

Tax deductible donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Checks for contributions should be made to Minnesota Valley Action Council, and will be matched on a two to one basis as outlined above. (Click here to get started)
