Head Start Program Assistant - MVAC Administrative Office

Position provides general administrative assistance and clerical support for the Head Start management team, including facsimile transmissions of all child health-related records and releases. Assist with ongoing program monitoring, data entry duties, oversee vehicle maintenance. Associates degree preferred, and a minimum of 1 year office environment experience, with strong data entry, scanning and billing experience preferred. This position requires precise attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills. Must demonstrate the ability to process paperwork completely, neatly & accurately. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time, ensuring adherence to program procedures. Experience with computer data entry and working with Microsoft Office product software is required. Bi-lingual beneficial. 40 hours/week. $12.86/hour with degree and $12.17/hour with no degree Health insurance is offered and benefits include paid holidays and vacation.
