MVAC is pleased to announce that it received a grant from the Community Action Leadership Institute Innovative Program Fund. This grant will fund a pilot program to provide education, tools and training for low income families who would like to learn how to grow, harvest, and preserve their own food through canning. We will partner with the Center for Earth, Spirituality and Rural Ministry to provide this exciting opportunity for Head Start Families this fall. The Food Hub will supply fresh, local foods for the program.
