Head Start Family Services Advisor – Mankato, MN

Responsibilities include:

Responsible to plan, develop, implement, and monitor delivery of social services to children and families.  Responsible to plan and facilitate monthly Policy Council meetings.  Responsible to supervise Family Advocate staff.  Responsible to develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners, co-workers, and other service providers.  Applicant must have a BS Degree in Human Services or related degree such as Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology and/or a minimum of 2 years work experience in one of the listed areas; supervisory experience; and one year training responsibilities.  A current Minnesota Social Work License is beneficial.  This position requires strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.  40 hours per week.  $25.09 per hour.  Health insurance is offered, and benefits include paid holidays and vacation. Submit application to MVAC HR, 706 N.
