Head Start Home Visitor – LeSueur County

Responsibilities include:

Responsible to strengthen the parent-child relationship in the home and community by providing weekly home visits to the families and provide social experiences at a classroom site. Provide families with assessments, referrals and linking them to community services and resources. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners and supervisors. Bilingual beneficial. A minimum of a home-based CDA credential or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and be able to demonstrate competency to plan and implement home based learning experiences is required. Advanced degree, Bachelors or Associate’s degree in early childhood or related degree is preferred.  Knowledge of community resources and the skills to link families to appropriate services is beneficial. This position requires strong computer, communication and organizational skills. Experience working with children and families is required. 35.5 hrs/week. $14.74/hr with no degree and $15. 39/hr with degree. Travel required for position.
