Head Start Home Visitor – LeSueur County

Responsibilities include:

Responsible to provide Head Start Home Base direct services to enrolled participants. Direct services include family services, education, health, mental health, and nutrition services thru referral and linking them to community resources. Conduct outreach and recruitment and provide a weekly home visit to families.  Develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners, co-workers, and supervisors. Bilingual beneficial. A degree in early childhood, family services or related degree is preferred. Knowledge of community resources and the skills to link families to appropriate services is beneficial. This position requires strong computer, communication, and organizational skills. Experience working with children and/or families is required. 38 hours/week. $16.94/hour with no degree and $17.63/hour with degree. In area travel required for position.
