Program Description

The Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP) offers opportunities to people age 55 and over to gain work skills through paid work experience. Participants work part time hours at worksites such as thrift stores, schools, museums, day care centers, hospitals/nursing homes, and more!.  The program is designed to provide job training and support with the goal of moving to a job in the regular job market.

Availability

Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Martin, Nicollet, and Watonwan counties

Eligibility

  • At least 55 years of age
  • Income eligible
  • Unemployed
